We are super excited to announce that we are an official charity partner of Run Reigate 2019.
This includes the Intersport Run Reigate Half Marathon, as well as the 10k, 5k, and the childrens races which happen on the same day.
We are able to offer free race entry for people running for SASH (min sponsorship £200/£150 for the childrens race).
We are hoping that as many of you as possible will join us and help raise funds for neonatal special care / intensive care for babies at East Surrey Hospital.
Run Reigate is a multi award winning race, winning Best UK Half Marathon at the 2017 National Running Awards as well as silver awards in 2015 and 2018. As the hospital charity for Reigate, and people accross Surrey and Sussex, we are delighted to be part of the event, and hope you will join the team by running for us.
Alternatively, for more information please contact [email protected] or call us on 01737 768511 x1295 or 07966 235171.
Frequently asked questions:
Can i enter any of the races? Yes – your fundraising support is hugely appreciated, whatever distance you choose to run.
What if I dont want to commit to the minimum sponsorship? No problem, the min sponsorship only applies where we arrange (and pay for) a charity place in the run for you (and running vest/t-shirt etc). If you dont need these, you can just pay for your own race entry, and still set up a just giving page (here) to raise whatever you can.
Can we enter as a team? Yes – you can enter as a team. Your race entry itself will be as an individual, but once you’ve entered, and set up a justgiving page, you can link it with other people from the same company/group/organisation to form a team. Contact us if you’d like some help doing this – [email protected]
Do I have to run for the neonatal unit? No – you can fundraise either for the neonatal appeal, or for SASH Charity overall, which supports departments across the whole hospital. To run for the charity/hospitals overall, just setup your fundraising page on our main justgiving page here.
Can you help me fundraise? We can certainly help promote your fundraising, through our social media channels. As well as sending you a printed sponsorship form if helpful. In practice it’s likely to be your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours etc who sponsor you, so sharing the link to your justgiving page on your own social media feeds is often very helpful.
