Gatwick Airport and the Charity

We are hugely grateful to staff of London Gatwick Airport who voted for the Charity as the airport's charity partner. Together we hope to make a real difference for the people who rely on our hospitals. You can help whichever part of our hosptials means the most to you, or you can join the team of Gatwick Colleagues raising money to transform the childrens ward at East Surrey Hospital.

In 2026 - we are trying to raise £50,000 to transform a childrens treatment room, and an isolation room for children with cancer in the Gatwick Area.

We've got some exciting news to share! Surrey & Sussex Healthcare Charity (& East Surrey Hospital Charity) are thrilled to announce that we are an official charity partner for Run Gatwick and Run Reigate 2026!

This is a fantastic opportunity for the Gatwick community to come together and support some truly vital causes within East Surrey Hospital, and our sister hospitals locally. We're hoping to muster a great team of enthusiastic runners, walkers, and cheering/support volunteers from Gatwick to help us make a real difference.

The kids race is always great (we’d LOVE to get a big team of gatwick families in the kids race running for the children’s appeal!), and adults can choose from the 5k, 10k, or the half marathon.

Run for your loved one. Run for your friend. Run for the team who cared for you.

For Gatwick Staff - If you're fundraising for the hospital charity, we have a limited number of FREE race entries available, AND Gatwick Airport Ltd will match whatever you raise for the hospital charity up to £250, so your fundraising can be doubled at no additional cost to you!

Our supporters will also get an exclusive charity running t-shirt, as well as an (optional!) free coffee and facepainting on race day!
