The simplest and most impactful way to support us is by donating online through our Enthuse page. This method is not only easy for you, but it also helps us significantly by allowing us to collect Gift Aid where applicable.

If you're making a personal donation (meaning it's your own money, not collected as part of a group), we can claim back the tax you've already paid on your generous contribution. This amazing benefit comes at no extra cost to you!

What does this mean in practice? For every £1.00 you donate, we'll receive an additional 25 pence, helping your support go even further. This is possible if you are a UK taxpayer.

In person

If you're in East Surrey Hospital, you can donate in person with cash, card, or cheque at the cashiers office (close to the east entrance). We also have contactless card donation machines by the main entrance 24/7.

Donating items

Food - If you would like to donate items to our new community fridge, please check what we can and can't accept here. You can then make the donation of food by placing the items in the fridge directly at East Surrey Hospital. The fridge can be found by the East Entrance, opposite our hospital chapel.

Toys - Please email sash.charity@nhs.net if you would like to donate toys to our children's appeal. A member of the charity team will then you let you know if the team require any additional toys. Please note, we can only accept new toys with their labels still attached. If you would like to make a donation to specific toys that will benefit all such as a sensory trolley, please make a donation to the East Surrey Hospital Toy Appeal page directly.

Blankets - We can accept handmade blankets which are welcomed by a variety of our departments. These will then be distributed to patients receiving end of life treatment, affected by dementia or babies who have just been born. Please email sash.charity@nhs.net if you would like to make a donation.
