Firstly - if you're reading this, then we are sorry for your loss. Thank you for considering a collection for the hospital in memory of your loved one. Donating in memory is a special way to celebrate the life of someone you love, and to help others in hospital.

Many people now choose to have a collection in lieu of flowers at funerals. Funeral directors are familiar with this type of giving, so please let them know you would like to support the hospital charity in this way. Cheques should be made payable to Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Charity. If you want to support a particular ward or department then ask the funeral director to let us know this.

If you have any questions please get in touch with the charity team on on 07966 235171, or our landline 01737 304668 or email sash.charity@nhs.net

Set up an online donations page

An online donations page / tribute page can be a lovely way to hold a collection in memory of a loved one.

A donations page is personalised for you, and makes it easy for people to make a gift, and to leave messages of rememberance too. You can add your own photographs and words to the page, so the tone is just right.

This is a safe and secure way to donate and it enables your friends and family to see messages of condolences.

To set up a online tribute page just visit the link below, and click 'Fundraise for us'. It will then give you the option to set up a page in memory of a loved one, and guide you through the simple process to set it up. You can then share a link directly to the page with friends and family, or include a link in an order of service.

Organise your own fundraising activity

If you want to organise an event or fundraising activity to remember your loved one then do get in touch and we can support you with this. We would love to hear from you on 07966 235171, or email sash.charity@nhs.net
